Diane has been our manager since 2012, following 2 years volunteering and works at our main office in Historic Village. Prior to that she has had a 30 year career in Corporate Banking.

We have a team of committed staff and volunteer staff who empower their clients to have better lives because they successfully manage their finances. Developing their skills and seeing people grow is our greatest reward.
Gay has been a Financial Mentor since 2013. She is based at the Hillier Centre in Bayfair and also the Papamoa Library and Community Centre.
“I really like people and enjoy the stimulation of working through their financial situation to improve it. I love seeing people feel good about themselves when they gain control of their money.”
Alison has been a financial mentor since 2011. Alison is a SIO Supervisor, Total Money Management Supervisor working out of our main office.
“Having been on the other side, struggling with inherited debts, when I was able to get myself out of it I vowed and declared I would never be in that situation again. When my personal circumstances allowed, I grabbed the opportunity to train and haven’t looked back. The thing I value the most is helping people get out of debt and turn their lives around financially.”
Cody is based at our Historic Village office and she has been a financial mentor and Money Mate since 2014. She loves interacting with participants during the 4 weekly facilitated programme. Money Mates helps to develop additional skills in peer lead supported training where people are empowered to come up with solutions.
“After a relationship split I was inundated with so much debt I didn’t know which way was up. A friend taught me how to manage my money and for the first time in my life I was able to pay the bills on time every time. From then on I was dedicated to helping others do the same.”
Lisa is managing our clinic at the Katikati Resource Centre. Being a local in this gorgeous community, Lisa enjoys meeting people and helping to change their lives through better money management.
Sue is our dedicated Financial Mentor at our Toi Ohomai Bongard Clinic and our Welcome Bay clinic. Sue has many years of Financial Mentoring with families and individuals and knows the needs of people in our community.
Runa takes care of our Te Puke clinics “I enjoy working with whanau so they can better their lives. I love seeing the long term results it creates within their home. “
Shelley takes care of our clinic in Maketu. “I love being a part of the team at Tauranga Budget Advisory Service. As a local in Maketu, I understand the vibe of the community and its needs.
Ngarui is a Financial Mentor at our Te Puke Clinic
Danny is our Financial Mentor at the Merivale Clinic every Wednesday and Thursday morning.
Rae has been a volunteer Financial Mentor for a few years, working on Wednesdays from our main office.
As a retired teacher, Rae loves to help people and finds budget advising to be a concrete and positive way to do this. Having had a family of five she is well aware of the need to budget and loves helping people with practical, down-to-earth advice.
With 40 years in the banking and investment industry, Tam has a wealth of experience to share. “I have a genuine desire to help others and see them succeed and move forward so they can better help themselves”
Kevin is a volunteer Financial Mentor working out of our main office at Historic Village.
Michelle is a Financial Mentor at the Hillier Centre in Bayfair.
Adrienne has been working for Tauranga Budget Advisory Service since February 2010, mainly with clients from Papamoa.

With a background in Finance and Maori Development, Kylie is one of our volunteer Financial Mentors. “I am very passionate about helping others to achieve their financial goals. I particularly love it when I see my clients taking back control of their finances. That to me is awesome”.
